JUNE FAVORITES
Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude, Adventures in the Rockies, 3 Films, 2 Series, 1 Book, and More...
Hello, Friends!
It’s time to hang out with my favorite crowd and share some of my favorite discoveries and experiences from the month! In this month’s newsletter, you’ll find one of my favorite exercises from my week in the Living School this month so that you can experience it too. It will awaken you to the goodness of being human.
Earlier this month, I spent a week in school online with the Center for Action and Contemplation. During this time in The Living School, we were given multiple opportunities to reconnect to our bodies as we learned to more fully embody our contemplation and to lean into where contemplation meets social justice. This attempt to integrate both contemplation and action is a beautiful way to live. As with most adventures, I have no idea where this is all leading, but I trust the trail.
Speaking of trails, our family spent a lot of time outdoors this month. June in Colorado has perfect temps. We took multiple trips to Estes Park just down the road, which is the heart of the Rocky Mountain National Park. We explored new hikes, took the tram up for more views, and probably ate too much ice cream- is that possible? Next week I turn 62 and qualify to get my Lifetime Pass to RMNP so that I can go anytime for free. Gotta love those senior discounts. ;)
