LIVING SCHOOL IS LIVE!

Currently in Albuquerque with Richard Rohr + The Living School

Hi, Y’all!

I am currently away for the week in Albuquerque, New Mexico studying with The Center for Action and Contemplation as part of Cohort 2023 which began in July of 2021. I’m participating in the FIRST LIVE GATHERING of THE LIVING SCHOOL since the onset of the dreaded Covid. Up to this point, all of our classes and shared practices have been online.

It’s especially meaningful to me since we were supposed to have gathered in person three times in this 2-year process by now. While the staff and teachers of The Living School have done a phenomenal job creating a teaching sanctuary for us online, there is simply nothing like being in the same room with these teachers and with the other students for this shared experience.

I’m staying in a wonderful adobe-style house with the other members of my Circle group. We’ve been meeting online every 2 weeks for over a year to share this wisdom school journey and the curriculum of our lives. This is the first time we have been able to be together in person. What a gift!

So I know you’ll understand the brevity of this week’s newsletter. I’ll have much to share upon my return. ‘Til then, friends!
