THIS IS A NOTE
Questions I Have Been Asking, 3 Things Worth Sharing, Update on Ron's World, and more...
Hi, Friends.
THIS IS A NOTE:
This is a note about stepping out of your comfort zone.
This is a note about being more visible and letting yourself be seen.
This is a note about taking up space and sharing your truth, even when your voice shakes.
This is a note about choosing your mindset and opening up to new possibilities.
This is a note about doing things you’ve never done before and persevering when it gets hard.
This is a note about remembering the wisdom of increasing your self-care and tender self-love even when it feels like there is no time. THERE IS ALWAYS TIME FOR LOVE.
THIS IS A NOTE about what I have been doing this past week in a big way.
(It was scary at times, exhausting at times, invigorating and affirming.)
What is the note you would write this week?
THIS IS A NOTE TO REMIND YOU THAT SOMETIMES LIST-MAKING IS ALL WE CAN MUSTER. IT COUNTS.
Questions I have been asking myself:
In what ways do creative expression and work express my spiritual path?
What is the curriculum of my life teaching me?
Where do I feel-hear-sense sacred guidance in my life right now?
How have I noticed the Divine surprising me daily?
Where am I blocking the flow that wants to move through me?
How does this feel in my body?
Am I holding my breath?
What questions have you been asking this week?
How I tended to myself during an intense workweek:
Baths. Baths. Baths.
Walks.
Putting lotion on my body at night before bed. Tenderly and in appreciation.
Asking for help. Even when I still have conditioning that says I should be able to do it all myself. Or that others won’t want to help me.
Cooking when I have the energy because I love to make myself fresh, healthy meals. Not berating myself when I have to scarf down frozen meals like Annie’s Enchiladas or Margarita Pizza.or grab a handful of peanut M &M’s instead of an apple.
Took myself to dance class—hip hop for the win.
How have you been tending to yourself this week?
THIS IS A NOTE TO REMIND YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND THAT YOU MATTER. YOUR STORY MATTERS.
3 THINGS WORTH SHARING THIS WEEK:
Mocktail for the win. Ginger beer ( it’s non-alcoholic and Reed’s is my fav) with Sprite and a splash of OJ. Feeling fancy? Throw in a few maraschino cherries and a slice of lime.
My sister “Substacker” Caitlin Elizabeth and this powerful writing about the mother wound. You can follow her here.
This meme made me laugh. It must be summer!
Ron’s World :
Update on Ron breaking TikTok last week. His video surpassed FIVE MILLION VIEWS. Enjoy it here. What is this life?
Lastly. I wanted to remind you that I am offering a 4-day challenge for Women, called WRITE 444 next week, May 30-June 2. This online challenge supports and inspires you to begin to write your healing story. It’s FREE, so please invite any women who would resonate with this experience. I’ve packed this experience with as much goodness and support as I can for you.
I’d love to see you at the WRITE 444 Challenge next week! I hope you’ll join me there.
If you know you have a story to tell, and you are ready to share it, and you know you want consistent support in a compassionate community of like-hearted women, register for my 4-month program, PROJECT 444 here.
Be brave, show up, take up space, do your work, and take care of yourself.
xoxo Mary
