Synchronicities are my favorite!! It means we're paying attention!! I will learn a new word and inevitably hear it 1000 times following learning it. I've seen more (usually red tail) hawks in the last year or two than I have in my entire life combined...I love the messaging behind hawk sightings!!

Agreed, Mal! Don't you love how it works in and through us? We carry someone else's synchronistic moment. And, yes, I saw a hawk this morning!

For me this week it's been bats. I ordered some "Night Flyer" (bat-themed) perfume, the maternal bat colony that our house hosts every year showed up (albeit a bit on the early side...), and then my sister dropped off a box of "Reese's Puffs Bats" for me after seeing them at Grocery Outlet.

Oh, this is so much fun! Thanks for sharing. I'm so curious... what does it mean to host a maternal bat colony? I lived in PR as a young teen and we used to toss our parents' car keys in the air at dusk to watch the bats dive for them!

Haha, it just means bats want to live in our house for part of the year when they're having babies. We don't really want them in our house though so my husband built a bat box for them to live in, it's attached to the house where they were getting into the walls so that they can hang out there without damaging the house. It is really cool to watch them flying around the backyard at night, and keeps mosquitos down.

Gotcha, that's what I thought. We're considering getting an owl box!

I think it's a really good idea, if you can! Humans destroy so much habitat, it's great to provide some too.

I love the ' noticing' and awareness of synchronicity.. In a circle discussion last week someone mentioned the song Sound of Silence and we read together the lyrics of this song. Worth contemplating. Straight after the meeting we took the grandkids to the nearby dam to feed the ducks. A group of young people were picnicking and fishing. One of them had a guitar and played the Sound of Silence....

These kinds of stories just light me up! I think it's happening all the time for us all. We just need more practice paying attention. Thanks for sharing, Monique.
